Having converted many of our clients to Entryless over the last couple of years it was With great disappointment that they recently announced a significant change to their. Previously they offered two subscription levels “Forever Free” and “Premium”, this was perfect for our clients depending on the number of invoices and speed of transaction processing the price was fair for all.
However Entryless have stopped the “Forever Free” level with immediate effect and no with warning. This was a very disappointing move especially to their partners who have been recommending them for a couple of years or more. On top of that they have reduced the number of transactions allowed within the Premium subscription, they have also introduced a small business premium level which at £10 per month is very expensive for the price in terms of number of transactions.
We have had to resolve a number of issues over last few months and have persisted with Entryless even though we were experiencing issues with the software, and the support we received trying to sort issues was average at best and insulting at other times. Nevertheless 99% of the time the system worked and we had no quibbles.
Goodbye Entryless, Hello AutoEntry
The change in subscription basis has sent us looking for an alternative the straw that broke the camels back so to speak, we are pleased to say we have partnered with OCRex and their software AutoEntry for bill automation from today. Their system offers a very similar process to Entryless, with a few added bells and whistles which make the entry process even smoother and from our trial experience a much better system for spotting duplicate entries within the Accounting System.
Also the processing so far has been unbelievably quick, we uploaded about 40 invoices this morning and they were ready for processing within half an hour, which is a great improvement on the timeframe of Entryless which even with premium was sometimes as long as 12 hours.
Existing clients will soon receive emails from us regarding the change in process and also the change in price if any, for many there will be a slight reduction in ongoing fees.
We aim to provide new instructions for AutoEntry by end of the week, it is unlikely you will notice any major changes apart from the requirement to visit a different website. We will add a client folder for all of our clients on to Auto Entry and you can decide when you make the switch over, we will leave you on Entryless Premium if happy to stay there, but we cannot guarantee support anymore and would prefer you move to AutoEntry as soon as possible.
